Travel Hockey - Registration
Before registering with Angels Hockey please be sure you are eligible per the information below:
- If you live in Fargo or West Fargo, or surrounding communities and you attend a private school, you register with Angels Hockey.
- If you live in the Fargo Public School District and attend public school, you register with the Fargo Youth Hockey Association.
- If you live in the West Fargo Public School District and attend public school, you register for the West Fargo Youth Hockey Association.

Ages
Squirt Age Eligibility: For players born between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2014.
PeeWee Age Eligibility: For players born between born between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2012.
Bantam Age Eligibility: For players born between June 1, 2008 and May 31, 2010.
When
Tryouts to be held in October, 2023. We will be wrapped up prior to NDEA Break.
In-season programming begins after November 1st with 2-3 Practices. A combination of shared-ice and single team practices.
PeeWee & Bantam Teams will attempt to play multiple games a week and will include the NDAHA State Tournament +1 out of town tournament for each team. Squirts will be part of Squirt International with an attempt to secure two away tournaments. The Angels will focus on games scheduled vs tournaments in an effort to build competitive schedules for each team.
Fees
Angels Hockey (By July 31st, 2023): $100 off regular price! with multiple payment options to be paid in full by December 1st.
Angels Hockey (August 1, 2023 and after): Regular Price with multiple payment options to be paid in full by December 1st.
USA Hockey:
- USA Hockey Fees: Differ based on birth year.
- NDAHA: $15
- $400 in fundraising sales or buyout are required. There are NO REFUNDS or changing the fundraising/buyout choice after registration is complete.
Where
Practices are held at multiple facilities throughout Fargo and West Fargo to accommodate our growing organization.
Squirts: Angels Arena near Downtown Fargo.
Peewees: Angels Arena near Downtown Fargo.
Bantams: Angels Arena as well as West Fargo Sports Arena.
Games: Throughout the season, our teams travel to various communities in North Dakota and Minnesota to find the most appropriate competition for the development.
Jerseys
All Angels Travel players will receive a New Jersey this year, that they will turn in at the end of the year.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much travel can we expect?
Travel varies by level and by age group. We share a 50/50 home and away schedule in most leagues and try to negate travel when possible. However at the higher levels we tend to travel more to find the best competition for the development of our players.
What's the time commitment?
The Angels Hockey Association expects that players signing up for travel hockey have a commitment to the success and growth of their own development along with the growth of their respective teams. Hockey being a team sport, we try to keep our teams smaller in size to ensure that each player gets as much ice-time as possible and provide the opportunity to foster improvement throughout the season.
