Simonson Enjoying Success Post-Angels

Former Angels standout, Parker Simonson, is back playing in the F-M area.  Parker joins his former Angels teammate, Tyler Bossert with the  Concordia Cobbers.  Check out the link below for dates and times to catch them in action!

Thief River Falls, MN | The Thief River Falls Norskies, proud members of the Superior International Hockey League (SIJHL), are pleased to announce that forward Parker Simonson has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Concordia at Moorehead.

Simonson, 20, is in his final season of playing junior hockey in the SIJHL. The 2017-18 season has been Simonson’s best as he has recorded 68 points (37 goals, 31 assists) in 55 games played to for the Norskies.

The 6’0/195 lbs. native of Bismarck, North Dakota, was also selected to and played in the 2018 SIJHL All Star game for team USA.

“Thanks to everyone that supported me along the way and a huge thanks to Cole Workman for making my college hockey dream a reality. It’s been a great year and a half playing in Thief River Falls and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” in a reaction from Simonson.

Simonson spent last two seasons with the Norskies. In 89 career SIJHL regular season games, he has recorded 107 points.

” I am extremely excited for the opportunity Simonson has been presented at Concordia. He will fit in well with Coach Howe and gets to join his team mates Logan Jackson, and Michael Johnson. I’m confident Parker will be a dominant player for Coach Howe and I am anxious to see how Concordia’s upcoming season plays out. Congratulations to Parker,” said Norskies head coach Cole Workman.
