Angels Summer Development Program


Angels Summer Ice Sessions


The Fargo Angels will be hosting 8 on ice sessions this summer for current and potential Angels players. 

They will be station based skill and competitive game style sessions.  The focus is to keep them fun with high repetition to keep the players engaged.   

The sessions will be open to Squirt-Bantam age players.  Goalies will see lots of pucks!!!  They run on Sundays listed below throughout the summer.

The practice structure will look like this:

1)  45 minutes - 4-5 skill based stations with each station comprised of players with similar age/skillsets.

2) 45 minutes - 2-4 competitive game based stations comprised of players with similar age/skillsets.

The cost for the on ice sessions package is $130.00

If you pay before May 15th, the cost is $100.00.  That is only 8 dollars per hour for ice time!

Angels Summer Shooting Challenge


The Summer Shooting Challenge is open to all Angels!  The challenge runs from Jun. 1st to August 31st.  Here are the details:

 

1)  Print out the checklist attached below.

 

2)  You must shoot 12 days each month.

 

3)  Complete the 12 tasks in order for each month.  Check the box in front of the task when completed.

 

4)  Each task has a video associated it.  The videos are all labeled and listed below on the webpage.  Watch that video then complete the task.  We want our players shooting properly, so make sure you watch the video.

 

5) When you complete the last task in August.  Have a parent sign your sheet and date it.

 

6)  Like our Facebook page.

7)  Post a pic or selfie of you to the Fargo Angels Facebook page holding your signed off sheet with your net (or dented up garage door) in the background.  If you don't have facebook, send it to FargoAngelsHockey@outlook.com.

 

8) Players who complete the above tasks will be entered to win 1 of 6 $100 dollar gift cards to Play it Again Sports!

Christian Hockey Camp

The Fargo camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 9-17, it is an amazing week for a hockey player of any level. Christian Hockey Camp programs are designed to prepare hockey players for challenges, both on and off the ice. Campers will receive excellent instruction from some of the games best players and coaches during the week. Each camper will also experience a variety of interactive off- ice activities including dryland training, sports, games, and interactive training in Christian living.

The Hockey Academy @ Ralph Engelstad Arena

The Hockey Academy at Ralph Engelstad Arena offers on-ice training to individuals, small groups, and teams. On-ice training and skill development complements the hard work and training done in Off-ice training. During an on-ice training session, athletes will complete skill development drills to improve shooting, puck handling and participate in exercises that mimic real game situations. The former professional and college players that make up The Hockey Academy coaches and staff provide athletes specialized training and instruction with a great instructor to participant ratio. The Hockey Academy will customize an on-ice program to meet the specific needs of the team or the small group participants.

Coach Cory Mulvaney's Back 2 Basics Dryland Camp
